E-commerce Website Development in Dubai

I'm Emad Yahya — a Dubai-based web developer and IT systems engineer who builds custom e-commerce websites: a storefront on your own domain, product and inventory management, UAE payment gateways, and full Arabic/English shopping flows. Not a template with your logo swapped in — a store coded around how you actually sell.

My shipped work covers both halves of a good online store. The brand half: live premium sites like LKYOOB, UNHID and THE GROE — premium brand experiences, not stores, but they set the design standard your storefront inherits. The transaction half: an Arabic-first pharmacy POS in production that takes money and tracks stock with live barcode price sync — and a self-serve booking platform that completes bookings with no human in the loop.

A store coded around how you sell

The standard your storefront inherits

I have not shipped a public online store yet — and I would rather tell you that than pretend. What I have shipped is the half most stores get wrong: the brand experience. LKYOOB (a bespoke private-residences studio), UNHID Developments (a boutique luxury developer) and THE GROE (an interactive creative agency) are live premium sites I designed and built end to end in Dubai.

They are brand sites, not stores — but that craft is exactly what separates a storefront people trust with their card from one they bounce off: typography, pacing, photography-first layouts and performance. Your product pages get built to that standard.

I already build software that takes money and tracks stock

The other half of e-commerce is machinery: catalogs, prices, stock, orders, payments. I build exactly that. My Arabic-first pharmacy POS runs barcode-driven checkout with live price synchronization and sales and inventory dashboards — retail mechanics, in production.

My self-serve online booking platform handles the transactional flow end to end: a customer picks, confirms and gets an automated confirmation without a phone call. An online store is that same machinery with a cart in front — which is why I scope and build it as a system, not a brochure.

Custom store, or Shopify?

If you are testing an idea with a handful of products, start on a hosted platform — it is the fastest way to find out if anyone buys. I will tell you that to your face before quoting anything.

The custom build wins when the store is the business: no monthly platform fees and no per-sale platform charges, a storefront that stops looking like every other theme, Arabic as a first-class experience instead of a plugin, and a store that talks to the rest of your operation — inventory, accounting exports, WhatsApp — because I build those systems too. And you own all of it: code, hosting, domain and customer data.

FAQ

How much does an e-commerce website cost in Dubai?

It is scoped per feature set: a focused catalog-and-checkout store costs far less than a multi-category shop with customer accounts and integrations. Send your product range and how you want to get paid, and you get a fixed written quote within 24 hours. After launch there are no monthly platform fees on what I build — the store is yours.

How long does an e-commerce website take to build?

A focused storefront — catalog, cart, payments — runs 2–4 weeks. A larger store with customer accounts, multi-category inventory and integrations runs 4–8 weeks depending on features. These are the same delivery ranges as the business systems I have shipped to production in Dubai.

Should I build a custom store or use Shopify?

Honest answer: if you are testing an idea with a handful of products, a hosted platform is the fastest way to find out if anyone buys — start there. Once sales are steady, the math flips: no monthly platform fees, no per-sale platform charges, your own brand, your own customer data, and a store that integrates with the rest of your operation. Send me your numbers and I will tell you which side of that line you are on.

Have you built online stores before?

Not a public one yet — and I will not pretend otherwise. What I have in production is every mechanic a store needs: an Arabic-first pharmacy POS with barcode checkout, live price sync and inventory dashboards, a self-serve booking platform that completes bookings end to end, and premium brand sites like LKYOOB, UNHID and THE GROE that set the design bar. An online store is those proven pieces assembled — and I scope and price it honestly as such.

Can the store work in Arabic and English?

Yes — full bilingual English/Arabic shopping flows with correct RTL layout, from product pages to checkout. I am a native Arabic speaker; the Arabic is written, not machine-translated. I have already shipped Arabic-first production software, including a pharmacy POS built RTL from day one.

Which payment methods can customers use?

Card payments through UAE payment gateways, cash on delivery, or a mix — your choice per product or order type. Gateway accounts are registered in your name, so payments flow directly to you.

Who owns the store after launch?

You do — code, database, hosting, domain and every account, all registered in your name. There is no per-sale platform charge and no monthly license on what I build. Optional maintenance is available, but nothing locks you in.
