HR SYSTEMS · DUBAI
I'm Emad Yahya — a systems engineer in Dubai who builds custom HR platforms: attendance, leave, payroll tracking, documents and approvals in one system your company owns. Not a per-employee subscription — a platform shaped to how your HR actually works.
This is not theory: I built the PSQ HR Platform that runs HR operations for Platinum Square Real Estate — onboarding, leave, documents and reporting in one place, replacing paper, email threads and spreadsheets entirely. By day I run enterprise IT for a Dubai real estate firm, so the system ships with production discipline: backups, permissions and audit trails.
The PSQ HR Platform runs HR for Platinum Square Real Estate — onboarding, leave, documents and reporting in one place, integrated with the company's Microsoft 365 environment. Before it, HR ran on paper, email threads and spreadsheets: slow onboarding, untracked leave balances and documents scattered across inboxes.
Today it is one auditable source of truth for every employee record: structured onboarding workflows replaced paper checklists, leave carries balances and approval chains, contracts and IDs live in a central document repository, and management reads org-level dashboards. Paper-based HR processes were eliminated company-wide.
Most companies I meet in Dubai run HR the way Platinum Square used to: paper, email threads and spreadsheets. It works until it doesn't — an untracked leave balance, a lost document, a new hire stuck in slow onboarding.
Migration is part of the build: your existing sheet data is migrated in, not thrown away. Staff get logins, permissions, history and reports instead of shared files — and HR stops being the one person who knows where everything is.
Subscription HR platforms charge per employee, per month, forever — and the bill grows exactly when your company does. What I build is priced once, as a project: no per-user license fees, and you own everything — code, database, hosting and accounts, all registered in your name.
Typical delivery runs 4–8 weeks for a full system, and pricing sits well below Dubai software-house rates for identical scope. You get a fixed written quote within 24 hours of the brief.
It is priced per feature set as a one-off project — you get a fixed written quote within 24 hours of your brief. As an independent engineer my pricing sits well below Dubai software-house rates for identical scope, and there are no per-employee or per-user license fees afterwards: you own the system.
A full HR platform — attendance, leave, payroll tracking, documents and approvals — is a 4–8 week build depending on features. A focused tool, like a leave tracker alone, runs 2–4 weeks. These are real delivery times from systems now in production in Dubai.
That is exactly what my own HR platform did for a Dubai real estate company: HR ran on paper, email threads and spreadsheets, and the system replaced them with one auditable source of truth for every employee record. Your existing sheet data is migrated in, not thrown away.
Yes — leave balances with approval chains, attendance records and payroll tracking are core features, all shaped to your own company policies rather than a fixed template. Payroll data can be exported for your accountant or payroll provider, so the system fits into how you already pay people.
Honest answer: with a handful of employees and standard needs, a subscription tool is a fine start. The math changes as headcount grows — SaaS pricing is per employee per month forever, while a custom build is priced once and owned. Custom also wins when your policies never quite fit the templates: approval chains, document rules and reports built around how you actually operate.
You do — code, database, hosting and every account, all registered in your name, so employee data sits in infrastructure you control rather than on a third-party platform. Optional maintenance is available, but nothing locks you in.
Yes — I am a native Arabic speaker and have shipped Arabic-first production software. Bilingual English/Arabic interfaces with correct RTL layout are standard, not an add-on.
